Day 328- Rise & Shine✨Together
Faith in Love
Hebrews 11- 1-3, 39-40
'Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. '
'All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. 'For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us.
The something better in mind is that we get to experience the freedom while living that living from love can bring. Faith shows the reality of what we hope for, we can receive ALL that God has promised, freedom, salvation. We are saved from living a life determined from the outside in if we choose to walk in faith towards it.
Faith is active, it is belief activated by action, motivated by a promised of an unseen unfelt reality becoming real. This doesn’t happen without you and me going through the discomfort of doing things that we quite believe yet, in the faith that if we keep going we will believe it- because we will be-living it.
Transformation of the heart takes tiiiiiiiiimmmmmmeeeeee, and them some more tiiiiiiimmmmeeee combined with action action action action…. And them more time and action. We humans are impulsive, impatient, we want the evidence first, we don’t like uncertainty and we certainly don’t like discomfort, and we are often unwilling to do what it takes to make it happen.
Faith is not airy fairy magical thinking. It takes active, living and breathing effort and courage. It takes courage to believe and go into the unknown with faith. Those who have ever been one way and faced themselves in the mirror and said, ok lets do this and persevered until what they once thought was impossible became possible through faith knows what I am talking about.
The ultimate faith walk is that required by agape love. To surrender and die a thousands deaths of the ego that it takes to transform your heart one that is free from legalism, judgement and fear. The promise that perfect love casts out fear is a reality that we can experience while still alive. Heaven on earth that Jesus came to role model and show us first hand how it is done. To achieve the divine experience of light, love and an authentically expressed and experienced life.
He was free from caring about being judged, having titles, having possessions, having the love of other people. He was pure and because of this he was able to have all the love, anything he wanted, the ultimate title was his for eternity. When we let go of ‘needing’ we get all that we ever wanted and more. We love the experience of life, because we realize our ‘at oneness’ with life and all of creation.
Have faith in love. Walk it out even when it feels weird, unnatural, inauthentic and uncomfortable. With an open and willing heart, lean in and you will learn and with time, patience and perseverance you will be transformed.

Can you have this kind of bold, active, courageous faith? Lean into the walk and let the gravity of love pull you in, have faith in love, can you? Are you willing? You have to first receive this love for yourself. Do you accept that you are loved simply by existing and no matter what you have done or not done?
