Phillipians 2: 1
'Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? '
As I opened to this first verse and these questions this morning, I just felt them wash over me. It was so refreshing and a really soothing moment. I read the whole chapter a few times, but I just kept coming to these few questions. They are so good.
What are we doing as believers and ‘strivers’ if not for rewards like encouragement, comfort and fellowship? All from love. Encouraged from belonging to love, comfort from love and fellowshipping together in the spirit of love. Sounds pretty good to me. I have been just resting in this all day.
Short and sweet today, let these questions stir your mind, heart and soul.
